Tools and Supplies

    • white polymer clay
    • hot glue gun and glue
    • X-acto knife
    • assorted nail polish or paint
    • gold pin backs

STEP ONE

Using the X-acto knife, cut one row off of the polymer clay block. Cut the row into 1/2″ chunks. Working carefully, cut corners off of the 1/2″ cubes to create faceted angles. Follow package directions and place the faceted cubes in the oven to harden.

STEP TWO

Remove faceted cubes from oven and allow to cool completely. Once cool, paint each cube a different color with the nail polish or paint. Allow to dry completely. Examine each facet and allow a second coat if needed.

STEP THREE

Once dry, add a dot of hot glue to one facet of a cube and attach it to the pin back. Repeat with the second and third cube, nestling each close to the cube placed prior to it. Allow to dry completely.

STEP FOUR

Attach to shirt in clusters of pins or at the base of a boutonniere.
